Biography
Prior to medical school, Dr. Staniland worked for the German Aerospace company Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm as a Mechanical Design Engineer on helicopters. Dr. Staniland has undergone extensive training in complementary/alternative medicine. He is Board certified in Family Medicine through the Canadian College of Family Physicians. He volunteers a considerable amount of his time serving sports teams around the metroplex and is the team doctor for the University of Texas at Arlington.
Dr. Staniland is passionate about Family Medicine and working closely with his patients across the Fort Worth-area to help them achieve their optimal health. Dr. Staniland went to the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine in Calgary, Canada, and completed his post-doctoral residency training at the Memorial University of Newfoundland Faculty of Medicine in St. John’s, NL, Canada.
